One of our dogs was debarked before we got her and the other barks only when there is someone at the door.
I have had a lot of guinea pigs since I was young but I haven't been able to bring myself to get another since my last babies died. I had hand reared them from when they were only 2 or 3 days old. There mum was very young - I got her at the markets and she was already pregnant (I knew that when I got her although the guy insisted she wasn't! I could SEE the babies moving in her stomach! I got her because I didn't want to leave her with them when she was so young and so pregnant). She had three babies. One didn't make it, but I had the other two for a few years. They almost died a few times when still babies (once because they simply refused to eat the different pellets we got them - people insist that they will eat when hungry enough - not so!), and then they died younger than most - I think due to their rough start in life. Hercules was the runt of the two who survived and was a very affectionate guinea pig. He loved snuggling inside my jumper and sneaking his head out the neck to kiss me!
